My Bookshelf specially for
“A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones)”

These are the books I have.
Illustrated hard cover edition →　3 books
Paperback edition → all 5 books

I also have Cersei Lannister Funko Pop Doll !
Waiting for Jaime to join the corner.

It took me about 3 hours to fix this bookshelf and another 2 hours to organize the books.
Of course I did not do it all in 1 day... I worked on it about 1-2 hours per day, so in total, it took me about 4 days to finish everything.
I did it all by myself and I'm very proud of it!

This bookshelf has 2 layers. The layer behind is for my Japanese books which are mostly mystery novels.
(I actually only read mysteries, fantasies and science fictions. I'm not a big fan of romance.)
Many more books will be joining in.
Actually I don't have many books here in Japan...
I only have 1/5 of my books here. (My books are my precious treasures.)
2/5 of my books are actually back in my family home in Los Angeles and another 2/5 are in my childhood home in Singapore where my parents currently live.
Most of my dolls and manga collections are there as well.

Well... but I like to have my favorite books with me always so A Song of Ice and Fire and Harry Potter will all be in Japan! (Since my job is in Japan and I get paid pretty good so I don't have any intention to leave this country so far... but I do miss my parents, relatives and many friends in US and Singapore...I do have amazing colleagues and a few friends in Japan, but all my childhood friends and best friends are not in Japan. I miss them.
Good news is that my boyfriend who is in US now but originally used to work in Tokyo, will be coming back to Tokyo next year. (of course depending on the Convid-19 situation).

Well, as for now, since I'm working from home and I don't have many things going on, I guess I have more time for reading!

I really can't wait for Jaime Lannister Funko POP doll to join Cersei soon!

The 3rd book of “A Song of Ice and Fire” series by George R.R. Martin has finally arrived to my home...
This is the BIGGEST book among the rest, lots of pages! Very heavy!
This edition is for collection purpose.
I also have paperback edition for reading and I've already read that twice.
Very interesting and splendid volume!

These books are for my collection.
I already have the paperback edition for all 5 books for reading purpose so these are mainly for collection purpose. They are absolutely beautiful.
The books have definitely made my bookshelf colorful, fantastic and splendid.
So far for this edition, only 3 books are out. I'm guessing the 4th book (A Feast For Crows) will be coming out maybe in Spring 2021. I wonder what color will the front cover be... I'm guessing green...?
We already have Gold, Blue and Red...
We shall see...

As for the 6th book (which is taking forever...), The Winds of Winter, I hope that GRRM is working smoothly on it...
I'm guessing it will be out maybe in Summer 2021... if everything goes well.
I'm planning to get it as soon as possible!

I really love “A song of Ice and Fire”, although my favorite characters are very few and there are many characters I hate; the story is extremely interesting and unique, something I've never seen in any other books before.
Whether I love them or not, the characters are all very gray nd complex.
I like the fact that there is no absolute justice in this story because everything can be seen in other way round from different perspective. GRRM himself has said that...

So if someone finds the story to be Justice VS Evil then the person must not be getting the right message from GRRM.
Though, I do have favorite characters that I love... I know they won't get happy ending..
Anyway... this is still a true masterpiece !!!

I had been looking for this long hair Cersei for ages!!

With box...(I'm keeping the box too)

So beautiful...

But she looks kindda lonely alone...
Need to get Jaime too!!
(My friend in US has found Jaime so he will be arriving soon.... )

I don't collect other dolls though.
All I need are Jaime and Cersei.
I don't need the rest !!
There are many characters I love such as Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons... but I don't really want to display them together with Jaime and Cersei since they are enemies; and I want Cersei to be in peace

So I don't plan to get other dolls...
I might still get Dany and her dragons if I have new shelf. Not anytime soon though.

アメリカにいる家族や親友やお世話になって人達に、カードを毎年おくっている。
ほとんどはメールやラインで、簡単なのを送るけど、人によっては、ちゃんとカードで送る。
今年は、12枚。
いつも、クリスマスの2－3週間前に送るが、今回はコロナの関係で郵便に大幅の遅延が出ているし、EMSも使えなくなったので、クリスマスの5週間前を目安に送った。これでも、クリスマスの前に届くかどうかは不明。もしかして、正月になる可能性もある。まあ、しょうがない...

これは、たくさんあるカードの中の一つで親友当て。
封筒までクリスマスらしくてかわいい。

ちゃんと届きますように。

この前、川崎ラゾーナに行ってきたら、Harry Potter関連のグッズが売られてた！！
Hogwartsの制服っぽい洋服とか！！
すっごく可愛くてほしいけど、一瞬、買いそうになったけど！！よーく考えてみたら、絶対に似合わないし着ないよなー笑。私は部屋のインテリアや家具や持ち物は、ゴシックやロココ調やファンタジーな感じのものが沢山あるけど、でも服に関しては、いたってシンプル＆カジュアル！！あまりお洒落に気を遣う方でもない。
（AMERICAN EAGLE 、Abercrombie & Fitch、GAP、H＆M、ZARA、UNIQRO、これらが主な服のブランド）
だから、本当に、こういうのは着ないし似合わない。でも、とーーっても可愛いし素敵。
色合いが好き。
こういうのが似合うお人形のような人達が羨ましいな～。
観ているだけでも癒されるしたのしい。
でも、ちゃっかり、ベルトだけは購入しました！！！！！！

お惣菜屋『RF1（アールエフワン）』

お惣菜屋『RF1（アールエフワン）』

私は、家ではめったに料理はしない。時間の無駄だからだ。
料理すれば汚れるし、片付けもしなければいけない。お手伝いさんを雇えばいいじゃないかと思うだろうが、実家ではそうしてた時もあったが、基本的に私は人を家にあげるのがイヤなので、プライバシーもあるし、なにより、家の中では人様にみせられないようなズボラな恰好をしているからだ笑。
だからキッチンの片付けや洗い物が何よりキライな私は、自然と料理を避けてしまう。でも、もちろん、暇なとき、どうしても食べたいものがあるとき、そんなときは料理をするが、基本的に、私は、外食、出前、またはお惣菜を買って帰るかだ。
そうお惣菜！

日本ってたくさん美味しいお惣菜あるから嬉しいね。
私が特に利用するのは、こちら。
『RF1（アールエフワン）』
値段もそこそこするが、とても美味しいので問題ない。

この日も、お気に入りのサラダ300g　&　ローストビーフ100g を買ってきた。
これで、DINNER。

美味しかった~！！
最近は、在宅勤務なので、外出もせず、出前ばっかりだが、外出すると買い物ついでに、ここのお惣菜も買ってかえる。特にサラダ。
自分でサラダつくるのは嫌いだからね。野菜あわらないといけないし面倒だし。
たまには、コンビニで買うけど、コンビニと比べられないほど、ここのサラダは美味しい。
なので、サラダ！といえば、ここだ。

またインド料理！

またインド料理！

この日は1人でインド料理。
前回の記事では、友人と二人で食べた量。
今回は私だけなので、1人分。
それでも、ナンがすごく大きく、軽く二人分いけるので、昼と夜の別けた。
カレーは、海老ほうれん草&バターチキンカレー。
カレーはとても美味しかった。ナンも美味しかった。飲み物はラッシーを注文。
サービスにタンドリーチキンがついてきた。

この日は、サモサも注文した。サモサも、一個の量が多い。大きすぎないか？ってぐらい。
前にシンガポールのLittle Indiaで食べた本格的なインド料理のサモサはもっと小さかったし、スパイスが効いてて美味しかったが...
これも美味しいけど、じゃがいもの量が多すぎるかな。
本来、サモサは具材には、ジャガイモ、タマネギ、エンドウ豆、レンズ豆や、羊の挽き肉が加えられ、ゆでてつぶした具をクミンやコリアンダーシード、ターメリックなど各種の香辛料で味付けし、小麦粉と食塩と水で作った薄い皮で三角形（三角錐が多い）に包み、食用油でさっくりと揚げたものの事をいう。

自宅で友人とインド料理PARTY

自宅で友人とインド料理PARTY

PARTYというほどではなく、単に仲良しの同僚と、2人で家で食事！
ほとんど人を家には呼ばないけど、この日は仕事で一緒にやるプロジェクトの打ち合わせがあったので
オンラインでも良かったけど家が近所なので、家で一緒に食事を！お互い一人暮らしだし、潔癖症な部分もあるので、コロナ渦の中でも信頼しあって、たまに一緒に外食はする仲です。家での食事は凄く久々。
この日はインド料理！！

中々、お値段もお手頃で美味しかった。

肉料理

チーズナン

カレー（海老ほうれん草カレー&マトンカレー）★激辛★

この他にラッシーも注文して、楽しく美味しくいただきました！
カレーは激辛にしたけど、激辛にして正解。
他のアジア諸国でインドカレーは食べる時は、激辛ではなく、普通の辛さにしていて、欧米や日本で食べる時は大体、激辛にしてる。
というのは、欧米と日本の辛さは、私の口では、あまり辛くない程度だから。
だから、激辛で、ちょうどいい辛さ。
友人も同じなので、これで正解。美味しかった！

普段、家で作るとしたら、こんなものです。マカロニ&チーズ！
幼い頃からよくLUNCH、たまにはDINNER、たまにはSUPPERで家で食べてたもの！
母親がよく作ってました。シンプルで簡単で美味しい！
アメリカの定番料理です。
特に私は、KRAFTのブランドが好き。
