I already have the paperback for all the 5 books.
I'm re-reading everything for the 2nd time.
This time, I'm concentrating more on the characters I'm interested in such as Jaime.
Book Jaime can be kindda fucked up but very complex character who has toxic obsession towards his sister. On the other hand, GOT Jaime (acted by hot sexy Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) actually succeed in not only showing toxic obsessive love towards his sister but he actually showed real deep love for her. He loved her deeply as her true lover, her twin-brother and her bestfriend.
He failed to be her prince charming or shining knight because just like all the characters, he was not a hero or superman, but just a human... but he truly cared for her.
He also showed some fatherly love for Myrcella...
Book Jaime so far has not showed any love for his kids but he actually doesn't even give a fuck about them at all. He seems to care more about his enemy's daughters than his own three kids or Cersei's pain for losing her kids!! So yah... book Jaime piss me off most of the time... but I still continue with the book and looking forward for his better character development as Cersei's golden knight. I hope he can be the true knight and that's not by killing his sister but by protecting her.
If he has to kill her in the end like the prophecy, I hope it would be something out of love or mercy for Cersei.
I'm scared but excited to see the fate of Cersei and Jaime in the book.
They might not have the perfect ending like what I've seen in the show (that was the best ending ever) but whatever it will be, I bet it's gonna be dramatic...
One thing I hope is that they better die together just like they came in to this world together.
