I love reading fictions. I mainly read murder mysteries, dark fantasies, gothic fantasies and sometimes science fictions and horror stories. I usually read English and Japanese novels. I don't know many Chinese novels, my knowledge is very limited, but my boyfriend recommended this so I hope it would be satisfying.
The Three-Body Problem (Chinese: 三体) is written by Chinese author, Liu Cixin.
The title refers to the three-body problem in orbital mechanics, which is very interesting!
This is the first novel of the Remembrance of Earth's Past (Chinese: 地球往事) trilogy.
The second and third novels in the trilogy are The Dark Forest and Death's End.
I haven't got the second and third novels. Well.... I still don't know if I would like it or not.
I will get the remaining two if I like the first novel which I haven't even started reading yet.
I got English version, translation done by Ken Liu. I heard the translation is superb.
It also became the first Asian novel ever to win a Hugo Award for Best Novel, and was nominated for the Nebula Award for Best Novel.
I'm excited to read but I need to finish my other novels first!
