Blair and my Ruby rings from our sweet boyfriends★
I really really loved this Ruby Ring Blair had been wearing.
In the show, I didn't know who she got it from but seemed like she got it from Nate. (According to the novel)
The heart pin was actually from Nate to Blair as well. It was originally a pendant.
Blair sewed it on Nate's sweater so that he would always have her heart....
Nate then went and got another gift from Blair and that's the Ruby Ring...
To be honest, all her expensive jewelries she got from her boyfriends; from Harry winston diamond ring to Monaco Royal Ring; I personally liked this simple ruby ring the most!!
She used to wear that until on her Royal wedding day and it always looked so pretty.
During the series, I was always attracted to her ring...
So pretty and always shining... suits her so perfectly.
I bet it was like her amulet.
I love ruby. My favorite stone.
So I was finally able to get back to America for Thanks Giving last year. I also stayed for Christmas and New Year. Went back to my old home in Pasadena as well.

I’ve been looking for it! It was a gift from my bf in high school (and my bf now) when I told him how much I liked the Ruby ring Blair Waldorf was wearing. ( in the book, she got it from Nate, her first love)
So my cute bf got it for me too!
The ruby is not as big as the one Blair has but it's still beautiful. Real Ruby.
I'm a bit embarrassed to say that my finger has became fatter during the years...
So it's a bit tight now but I used to wear it on my right hand ring finger.
I can wear it now still... but I guess I need to go on a diet a bit...LOL
Unlike, Blair and Nate, my bf is not my first love and not my childhood friend...
I only met my boyfriend in high school, we were on and off during high school but we got serious after we graduate from University and we are still together until today.
He knows what I like, what I love and we share the same values (family values and work ethic etc.)
Although they broke up in peace, I really really love Blair and Nate together because they looked so perfect and cute together.

Not really when it comes to Blair and Chuck...
Very unique and interesting character but I never really liked Chuck as Blair's boyfriend.
I mean... who can be worse than Chuck? He gave Blair many expensive presents, spent a lot of money on her and even paid her dowry...but he treated her like a high class call-girl, traded her body for a hotel business. WTF is wrong with that guy... Nate is bad boyfriend to Blair in early Season 1 but not as worse as Chuck. No one is perfect in that show. Everybody makes mistake but no one will trade a gf for a hotel...well, other than a criminal... There are mistakes that can be forgiven and there are mistakes that should not be forgiven. Trading her for a hotel business, that's the one thing that should not be forgiven...
He was also not there when Blair needed him that's why Blair went off with Carter, Nate, Prince Louis, Dan or whoever that helped her. So what's so cool about Chuck?
Well, first of all, not only Chuck but also Serena(←actually she's the worst. She even had affair with married man. Disgusting); how can anyone have sex with their best friend's long-time gf and bf whom they have known since childhood? Wtf is wrong with those people. Broken up or not broken up, it's absolutely NO for me. As for Chuck, I didn't even think he was hot. Maybe just not my type. Carter was the bad boy but Carter was way hotter.
To me, Chuck has always been this CREEPY guy with bowtie.
Never liked that bowtie fashion too.
Well, in the show, Blair and Chuck got married at the end of season 6; and Nate dated many bitches but he stayed bachelor at the end of season 6.
They were both still young (younger than me now) at the end of the season 6 so .... anything could happen...
Multiple divorces... multiple marriages or even death...
I have seen so many people getting married at mid 30s or late 30s.... Some even 40s...
Life is long and anything could happen.
But anyway, in the show, they DID NOT end up together.
However, childhood friends are something very special...
Together since kindergarten and dated the longest time.
Almost like brother and sister and they were the sweetest.
They ended their relationship in season 2 in the show (just because the show-runners wanted more drama in more seasons, and wanted to ship every single characters with every single characters. )
But frankly speaking, I really thought if they hadn't dated so young and so early, they would have better chance to end up together as adults.
Maybe if they remained as best childhood friends and dated other random people to get more dating experiences; when they got older and more mature, maybe when they hit late-20s or even 30s, they might have realized that one another is the true love.
Sometimes you need to see the person from far.
Sometimes you won't realize who is true love until the person is gone or with someone else.
In the show, Blair gave Nate too many chances but he screwed them up...
She still loved him even after she slept with Chuck. But Nate did not forgive her when he found out she was sleeping with Chuck behind his back.
That was Nate's biggest mistake.
When he wanted her for real in season 2, it was already too late (thanks to Chuck).
They dated again until the end of High school but Blair broke up with him and chose Chuck in the end.
Still... they were only high school...
They were all young.
It was good that Nate dated other people too... And Blair dated other people too...
But still, I wished they got back together again... as real adults.
I have seen similar relationship like that in my own friends, and they got married in the end. LOL.
Only difference is that in the case of my friends, they never dated when they were kids.
They dated other people even though they had special feeling for each other, but they remained besties because they were too young to know what the special feelings was.
They loved each other as friends, and they were afraid to ruin things if they dated; so they took the long road. That's the road my friends took and I thought Nate and Blair should have taken as well.

Sometimes people need to get more dating experiences and grow up in order to realize what True love and REAL relationship are.
But just like I always say, Gossip Girl is teen drama, sometimes it's stupid and funny...so can't really relate the relationship in there to real life.
All I have to say is, Nate and Blair is the BEST looking and cutest in that show.
I have mixture of Love and Hate feelings for Nate for what he did to Blair but I still really love to see Nate and Blair together!!
