BRPを申請しよう。書類を用意したら、どうするのかな？
書類をどうにか集めた後は、どうしたら良いのでしょうか？

Providing your documents 書類の提出
You must provide your documents after you submit your application, these can be originals or copies.
Any passports provided must be originals.
申請手続きをしたあと、書類を提出する必要があります。
原本または複写でも可能です。
提出するパスポートは原本である必要があります。
You will be able to upload copies of your documents on our commercial partner's website, or you can take your documents to your biometrics appointment to be scanned and uploaded by our commercial partner for a fee. You'll be told how to book an appointment and upload your documents after you submit your application.
委託先のサイトで書類のコピーをアップロードするか、または追加料金を払い、面接場所の委託職員によって有料にてスキャンしてください。
申請手続きが済んだあと、面接の予約方法と書類をアップロードする方法について案内があります。
You do not need to send any physical documents to the Home Office or UK Visas & Immigration unless you are advised to do so.
特別に要請されない限り、書類を内務省に送付する必要はありません。
Your application may be rejected if you do not provide all mandatory documents. If your application is rejected due to documents not being provided, it will not be considered and an administration fee for each person included in the application will be deducted from your refund.
必要書類に不備がある場合は、申請が受理されない場合があります。
その場合は、申請手数料は返金の対象になりません。
なんと、書類不備で申請が受理されなかった場合、申請手数料の２２９ポンドは返金されないみたいです。
恐ろしい、、、。
書類を完璧にしなければなりませんね。

UK.GOVのBRPのからサインインして申請書の必要項目をオンライン上で埋めていきます。
保存可能なので、途中で一旦ログオフしても大丈夫なので、ゆっくりと作業ができます。
そして、必要書類の確認ページにたどり着きました。
いったい必要書類とは？

Example documents include: council tax letters; letter(s) from a GP confirming dates of attendance; letter(s) from a school or college confirming dates of attendance; electricity, gas or water bills; or letter(s) from employer(s) confirming employment

なるほど、、、。大変ですね。
なにが大変って、イギリスに在住してから毎年住んでいることを証明する書類ってやつですよ！！！

銀行の口座詳細を発行してもらうことと、医師からの手紙をお願いするしかないかも。
どちらも時間がかかりそうで頭が痛いですね、、、。

BRPを申請しよう。GOV.UKで、さらに必要な情報を調べてみました。
どうやら申請する必要があるようなので、さらにGOV.UKの説明を読み進めます。

Replace your visa with a BRP
ビザをBRPに変えるには。
You can apply for a biometric residence permit (BRP) to replace the visa (or wet ink stamp) in your passport or travel document, for example if:
以下の場合は、パスポートに貼りつけてあるビザの代わりにBRPを申請できる。
・your passport or travel document has expired or it’s been lost or stolen
・the details on your visa (including your facial appearance) have changed
・You must apply from inside the UK.
・パスポートの期限切れ、紛失、盗難された場合。
・ビザの詳細（顔写真など）が変わった場合。
・英国在住者の場合。
The fee and how you apply depend on your visa status.
手数料は、ビザの種類によって異なります。
When you apply, you’ll be asked to make an appointment at a UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS) service point to provide your biometric information (your fingerprints and a photo).
申請する際、UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services (UKVCAS)の営業所で、指紋や写真などの生体識別情報を提供が求められます。
You have permission to settle (‘indefinite leave to remain’)
You must apply online if you have indefinite leave to remain.
It costs £229.
You’ll get a decision within 6 months.
永住権を所持している場合
永住権を所持している場合は、オンラインで申請する必要があります。
手数料は229ポンド。
6か月以内に結果がわかります。
If you want a faster decision you can pay an extra £800 for the super priority service.
さらに早く結果が必要な場合は、800ポンドの追加料金で特別に早く処理します。
You’ll get a decision:
by the end of the next working day after your UKVCAS appointment if your appointment is on a weekday
2 working days after your UKVCAS appointment if your appointment is at the weekend
Working days are Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays.
特急申請の場合、結果が分かるのは、
営業日にUKVCASの予約した場合は、その翌日の営業日までに結果がわかります。
週末にUKVCASの予約した場合は、2日後の営業日に結果がわかります。
営業日は、祝日を除く月曜から金曜日です。
biometric 生体識別
うーん、私は永住権を所持しているので、オンラインで申請して、UKVCASの営業所に予約して行って、写真と指紋を提出して、229ポンドを払うと6か月後にBRPを取得できるってことですね。
それにしても、追加で800ポンド払うと翌日発行可能って制度があるところがすごい。
お金を払えば優先するけど、一般料金なら順番待ちだよってことですね。
スピード発行の選択があるのは素晴らしいサービスですけど、金額の差が大きすぎる〜。
私はもちろん、順番を待ちますよ！！へへへ。
