大図鑑に載ってないクワガタたち（主に）

さほど珍しい種類でもないですが、
分類が複雑だったりするので記事にしてみます。（特にLucanus lama）
このL.lamaについてはAraya,2000(月刊むし350）にも書かれています。

N.celebensisはラベル間違いと思いますが、
N.ollenbachiは文献は未見なので本当にシノニムなのか詳しくはわかりません。

種名については原記載ではbaladenaとなっています。
よくはわかりませんがbaladevaとされるのは属の変更によるものなのでしょうか。

よく見りゃ　Fig.15はN.waterhouseiですね(笑)

Weinreiche,1963ではA.platycepsのシノニムとされてるように、確かによく似た種類です。
ホロタイプを見ると　前胸の幅が狭く直線的なことで区別できます。
（A.platycepsは末広がり）

最近四川省から記載されたダビディスに似た種類です。
形態上の区別点は　顎はやや直線的で　複眼上縁部の突出が弱かったり　複眼下がやや膨らむことなどで判別できそうです。

Lucanidaeに含めるかどうかはいろいろ意見はあると思いますが、
とりあえずはLucanidaeに含めておきます。

この属の種はぱっとした区別点がなくて同定があっているのかわかりませんね(^_^;)
D.nigricollisは名前の通り黒っぽいからいいとして。
旧大図鑑には博物館所蔵の写真が全種とも図示されてますが、
丸まってたりしてよくわかりません。

シネンシスに似た種類で　頭部の点刻・前胸・ケイ節などで区別はつきます。
未展足だったり　パッキングした状態での同定はちょっと難しいかも・・・

それにしても　Huang氏の文献は部分の拡大比較写真なども出ていて
参考資料としても大いに活用できますね！

ついでにCerchinae亜科について。
Ceruchus属はPlatycerinae亜科に含まれている場合もあります。
このことについて研究者の方に意見を伺ったところ、
たぶんケイ節の形状などでPlatycerinaeに含めているのだろうけど、
幼虫の形状や食性なども考えた場合　Platycerinaeから分けるべきではないか、　とのことです。

Prosopocoilus属の原始的な近縁種とされる1属1種のクワガタですが、
属を分けるほどではないように思います。

ヒエッケやフランシス、ノズなども含めて亜属程度が妥当ではないでしょうか。

雰囲気はCalcodesに似たような感じもあり　面白い虫ではありますね。
