大図鑑に載ってないクワガタたち（主に）

この3種については　タイプ標本の基準産地間違いや同定間違いで
かなりわかりずらい事になっています。
そんなわけで　ちょっとまとめてみます。

簡単にまとめると
ファウニコロールはジャワ産で、
ヴァンローニはニアス産でメイトランドのシノニムとなります。

両種とも似ていますが、
ジャワ個体群は頭楯がとがり　ニアス個体群は頭楯が丸いことで区別できます。

ついでに

Cy.faunicolor　Jawa　Oberthür et Houlbert,1914より

一般的にはズベールのシノニムとしてリストに出てくる種類なのですが、
基準産地はボルネオとフィリピンとなっていて
ボルネオ産はデハーンを指していると思われます。

本来　この種もレクトタイプを指定しなければならず
ボルネオ産を指定した場合はデハーンのシノニムとなります。

記載文の感じだとボルネオ産を基準にしているような雰囲気はあります。

Benesh,1960のリストを見ると　記載された文献とページ数が
Proceedings of the Entomological Society of London :lxxxi　（1842）とあります。
で、この本を調べてみてもページが見つかりません。

Krajcik,2003・Holloway,2007を見ると　やはり文献が見つからなかったのか
C.irroratusが次に出てくる　1843：362を記載年とページ数としてます。

Mitophyllus属の記載は1843：362なので　1842：lxxxiが間違っているのかもしれません。
