一、仏
その宗旨における信仰の絶対対象である仏を「本尊」と呼びます。阿含宗の本尊は、釈迦の聖霊（せいれい）が宿る聖物（せいもつ）として、昔から仏教徒の間で深く尊崇されている「真身舎利（しんじんしゃり）」です。
阿含宗では、これを「真正仏舎利尊（しんせいぶっしゃりそん）」と呼んでいます。
仏教徒にとって、ゴータマ・ブッダ＝お釈迦さまのご聖骨である真正仏舎利は「生いける釈迦」そのものであり、仏教では唯一最高の本尊です。
想像や概念上の仏ではなく、木像や図像の仏でもなく、ブッダとして実在した釈迦の聖骨であり、仏教における最高の本尊です。

二、法
阿含宗には、三つの修行法があります。

「成仏法（じょうぶつほう）」
　生者、死者を問わず、カルマ（業）を断ち切り、因縁解脱（成仏）してブッダ（真理に目覚めた人）になる方法です。
釈尊が阿含経の中で説かれている、「七科三十七道品」がその成仏法です。

「如意宝珠法（にょいほうじゅほう）」
真言密教において、最高最奥義とされる秘法です。この法を修するためには真身舎利が必要です。真身舎利を奉安して如意宝珠法を修すると、真身舎利変じて如意宝珠となるのです。如意宝珠法とは、願うがままに、福徳宝生・因縁解脱の功徳を与えてくださる秘法です。

「求聞持聡明法（ぐもんじそうめいほう）」
古くから真言密教に伝わる、人を天才にする法です。しかし、これまでに多くの高僧たちがこの法を修してきましたが、そのほとんどは目的を達成することができませんでした。

1. Buddha
The Buddha, which is the absolute object of faith in that sect, is called the 'honzon'. The principal image of the Agon sect is the "Shinjinshari", which has been deeply revered by Buddhists since ancient times as a sacred object in which the Holy Spirit of Shakyamuni resides.
In the Agon sect, this is called "Shinsei Bussharison".
For Buddhists, the Gautama Buddha, which is the sacred bones of Buddha, is the “living Buddha” itself, and is the only and highest principal image of Buddha in Buddhism.
It is not an imaginary or conceptual Buddha, nor a wooden or iconographic Buddha, but the sacred bones of Shakyamuni who actually existed as Buddha, and is the supreme principal image of Buddhism.

2. Law
The Agon sect has three training methods.

"Jobutsuho"
Regardless of whether you are living or dead, it is a method to cut off karma (karma), liberate karma (become a Buddha), and become a Buddha (a person who has awakened to the truth).
The 'Seven Departments and Thirty-seven Dos', which Shakyamuni preached in the Agon Sutra, is the way to attain Buddhahood.

"Nyoihojuho"
In Shingon Esoteric Buddhism, it is a secret method that is considered to be the highest and most profound. In order to perform this Dharma, a true body reliquary is required. If you enshrine the Shinshinshari and practice the Nyoihoju method, the Shinshinshari will transform into a Nyoihoju. The Nyoi Hoju method is a secret method that grants the merits of happiness and liberation as desired.

"Gumonjisomeiho"
It is a method to make a person a genius, which has been handed down in Shingon Esoteric Buddhism since ancient times. However, many high-ranking monks have practiced this dharma so far, but most of them have failed to achieve their goals.
