釈尊が、クル国の雑色牧牛聚落（Ｋａｍｍａｓａｄａｍｍａ）というところにご滞在になって

いたときのことです。
諸比丘を集めて、こうお告げになりました。
『わたしは、諸法の実相を如実に見ることのできる智慧を得て、すべての煩悩の根を断ち切
り、ガルマの束縛から脱出することができたのである。この智慧を持たぬかぎり、カルマのヽ束縛から解脱することはできないのである』
そうおっしゃって、「無知経」でのべられた五陰の実相をさとる教えを説かれた上で、じつに
大変なことをお口にされたのです。　　　　　　―
もっとも、大変なこと、といっても、釈尊や、お弟子の比丘たちにとっては、べつにあたりま
えのことなんですが、これをはじめて目にしたわたくしは、じつにこれは大変なことだぞ、と心

の底からびっくりしたのです。
それを聞いたら、あなたがたもびっくりするでしょう。いや、日本中のひとびとがびっくりす
るでしょう。中で一番びっくりするのが、坊さんたちでしょうね。゛
それはどういうことか？
「成仏法」についてです。’
釈尊はここで成仏法について明かされ、説かれているのですが、それについて、じつにおどろ
くべきことをおっしゃったのです０　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　。　　　　　　１゛　ｊ・
どういうことか？
まず、成仏法から中しましょう。
成仏法とはいったいなにか？
いつもいつもわたくしがおはなししている「七科三十七道品」、「三十七菩提分法Ｌともいう修
行法です。

釈尊は、この七科三十七道品という成仏法の修行によらなければ、ぜったいに成仏できない
ぞ、とおっしゃっている。かねてからわたくしは、ずう。つとそのように本でも書き、あるいは諸
什におはなしをしてきた。お釈迦さまの成仏法でなければぜったいに成仏できない。その成仏法
というのは」科三十七道品という修行法なんだ。この成仏法によって旅行しないかぎり、ぜ’｀つた
いに成仏でさない。お釈迦さまがおっしゃっているように、永久に苦の世界を輪廻転生する。
