Bill Gates Leaves Microsoft Board for Charity Work
Bill Gates has decided to leave the Microsoft Board of Directors so he can spend more time on his charity work.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation – named after Gates and his wife – started in the year 2000 and has worked on a wide variety of projects since. The charity says it looks at problems people are facing around the world, from food problems in parts of Africa to poor education in the US, and finds ideas it can invest in to help fix them.
