【由来】
馬が歳を取ると歯茎が縮んでいき、
相対的に「歯が長く long in the tooth」なっているように見える。
【例文】
Tom looks younger than his actual age but he's quite long in the tooth.
トムは実年齢より若く見えるけどけっこう年だよ。
