Shāmò.
沙漠

Méiyǒu shù huò cǎo de gānzào shā dì jiù jiào shāmò.
没有树或草的干燥沙地就叫沙漠。

A desert is a dry, sandy piece of land without trees or grass.
砂漠は、木も草もない、乾いた砂地です。

Shāmò lǐ cháng bù chū duō shào dōngxī, yīnwèi nà'er shuǐ tài shǎole.
沙漠里长不出多少东西，因为那儿水太少了。

Very few things grow in the desert because there is so little water there.
砂漠には、ほんの僅かしか水がないので、ほとんどものが生えません。

Zhège guójiā de mǒu xiē dìqū shí'èr yuè huì xià xuě.
这个国家的某些地区十二月会下雪。

In some parts of the country it snows in December.
地方によっては12月に雪が降ります。

一日には、24時間あります。

Yīzhōu de dì yī tiān shì xīngqírì.
一周的第一天是星期日。

The first day of the week is Sunday.
一週間の最初の日は日曜日です。

Yīzhōu yǒu qītiān.
一周有七天。

There are seven days in the week.
一週間は7日です。
