World's Smallest Dinosaur Found
What may be the world's smallest dinosaur has been found in a 99 million year old piece of amber in Myanmar.
Formed when tree resin becomes a fossil, amber can preserve plants and animals inside it for millions of years. Inside the amber, researchers found the skull of a bird-like dinosaur that would have been about the same size as a bee hummingbird, the world's smallest bird living today. The bee hummingbird weighs about 2 grams and is around 6 centimeters long.
