Where in Japan?
Before I start deep dive into topics, I should let you know where I am located in Japan. Climate, nature, animals, plants and culture all differ where you are located in Japan. We are grateful to four seasons too.

I am in Nakagawamachi, Tochigi prefecture about 190km drive from Tokyo heading north. The gross area of this town is 192.84 km2 where more than 70% are woodland and farm field, land for housing is just 3.2% according to town statistics.
In summer, it is as hot as Tokyo like temperature goes to 38° but will go down to -8° in winter night. Thanks to climate, we do not have much snow but it will melt slowly.
The name of town is coming from river called Nakagawa (‘gawa’ or ‘kawa’ means ‘river’ in Japanese) where we have in middle of the town. Also we have bunch of river branches around the town. I think here is one of the blessed places for river anglers. Statistically, this river has number one sweetfish ('ayu' in Japanese) catch in Japan.

Also this town has long history goes back to Nara period (710-794 CE) but I should put this on another occasion.
