Far backcountry life in Japan

As noted that there are more than 20 ruins of the castle in Nakagawa-machi when introducing Mumo castle in Bato-area, Kanda castle may be the largest castle in Ogawa-area. It was rectangular walled castle on the plain fields so called “hira-jiro” constructed sometime between 1056-1125.

Surprisingly, one of well‐known local product is torafugu or tiger globefish. Normally torafugu is marine life living in the ocean. In Nakagawa-machi, fugu is raising in the hot spring water in the pool farm. This is why we can have torafugu meals here.
