Far backcountry life in Japan

Got egg from free-ranged chickens.

Got backhoe training for driving under 3t. Good experience but not sure I can buy one.

Participated local log cutting training. Good experience.

Installed personal firewood open-air bath by DIY.

Potato harvest season is coming but one of hardest thing for living in far backcountry is wild animal attack. Here wild boar came and dig for worms. Especially after rain, human smell be gone and they comes often.

Heavy machine working for landslide measures.

Last week was sakura in full bloom in this back country.

This year, used wood instead of bamboo for charcoal. I feel wood is difficult than bamboo. Need more time and higher temperature to make it stronger.
