さて以前から気にはなっていたのですが日本では今から約4年前の8月31日に3枚組CD（41曲収録）としてリリースされたこの『クロスロード・リヴィジテッド　クロスロード・ギター・フェスティヴァル・ベスト・セレクション』。

これまで2004年、2007年、2010年、2013年、2019年と5回にわたって行われたクロスロード・ギター・フェスティヴァルの2013年までを音のみで追う軌跡、およそ10年間の集大成的なアイテムともなり、嬉しいリリースでした。一点意外だったのが2013年を除き過去の音源はCDとしては初お目見えなんですね（自分の中では2013年盤と混同していた部分も正直あり、いかに今までいい加減な認識だったかがよくわかる・・・反省）。



で日本盤は日本盤でもこのFender公認ブラウニーのフィギュア付き特典セットがしびれますよね〜。
2010年盤Blu-ray+ブラッキーフィギュア付を所持している私目としてはやはりMustだったのでございます。

EC絡みを太字にしましたが全部で15曲とバランス的にもいいですね！
最近はちょっとECとは疎遠だったのですが（笑）あの流暢で優雅なフレーズはやはり別格です。
また改めて聴き直したいと思います。

昨日からiTunes StoreにてU2の配信音源リサーチの旅に出たのですが（笑）その道中にまず見つけたのが15年前（2005年7月2日）に行われた「Live 8」でのPaul McCartneyと共演したオープニング曲でもある「SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band」と「The Long & Winding Road」との二曲入り配信シングルでした。

DVD発売された当時の映像は購入していたのですが音としても欲しくなりすかさずGet。
そして更にリサーチを進めるとなんとロンドンとフィラデルフィアでのコンサートを中心とした115曲分を網羅した「Live 8」音源が売られていることに気付くのでした！！！金額を見るとさらに驚きの＄16.99（豪ドル）！や、やすいじゃんか！

一瞬この安さに目を疑ったのですが（サブスクしてストリーミングされる方には音源ファイル購入は高く思われるでしょうが、なんせオジサン世代はレコードやらCDやらファイルやらと所有欲が大でブツが欲しいのですよ・・・）このついでに更にさかのぼりひょっとして「Live Aid」（1985年7月13日）の音源も売っているのではと奥の細道へ入っていくと・・・

やっぱありました！！！
同じくiTunes Storeで93曲入りで＄67.99（同じく豪ドル）。
今度のリアクションはさっきと逆で、うう〜ん、欲しいけどちょっとここまでは出せないなと・・・。
そこで今度はJay ZのTidalを覗いたのですがなんとこちらでも両ライブを発見！なんとLive 8が$11.99、Live Aidが$35.99とこれなら手が出せそう、ということでまずはLive Aidを買ってみました。

何故だか演奏順ではないのですが改めてセットリストを見ると圧巻！おお〜音質もいいぞ！
若きU2、Bryan Ferry、David BowieのHeroes、Mick JaggerとTina TurnerのState Of Shock、Eric ClaptonのLayla、Queenの瞬殺リスト、80年代に活躍していたアーティストなどなど35年の時を経て「音」でも我が家でLive Aidが蘇りました！！！いいねこれ！次はLive 8いきますよお〜！

今頃なんですがU2の「Songs Of Experience」からのRemixや別バージョンを含むデジタル配信シングルがかなりの枚数になっていることに気付き、これはコレクターとしてもまとめなきゃ〜、とリストアップしてみました。

正直なところ昔からRemixものは購入したはいいがさっぱり聴かないものも多いのですが、今回はオリジナルよりもアップビートでノリがいいものも多く見逃せない、聞き逃せないRemix群となってます。それでは一気にいきましょうかあ！！！

とこんなに盛沢山！
個人的には前作「Songs Of Innocence」よりも圧倒的にExperience支持派なのでこれは嬉しい悲鳴。

1989年7月21日発売の「すいか」、1995年6月24日発売の「Happy」とシングルのみの曲はもちろん、B面も含めた楽曲群を効率よく集めようとすると手を出したくなるアイテムではあるものの、両タイトル購入でも全曲制覇を目指すと必ず漏れがあるためこれまで躊躇してきたわけですが、この44枚組セットはもうリマスタリングもされて8�pCDで出ていたアイテムをそのまま12�pCDにしてこれでどうだ〜！とHappyから10年後に再度試されたわけですね。

「全曲制覇」を念頭に置けばもう遅かれ早かれ必ず購入しなくてはいけないマスト・アイテムだったわけで、発売から15年も経過していますがこの度ヤフオクにて帯付きを納得の金額で落札できたので改めて感極まる購入となりました！ちなみにその落札金額は袋やバッジなどの特典は無しで送料込みで15,500円でした。一枚単価352円！

当然ながら8�pよりもアートワークが大きく見やすくなり、とにかく超有名なA面群の出来が良いのは当たり前なんですが古くは「Five Rock Show」や「シャッポ」から「ゆけ！！力道山」「メリージェーンと琢磨仁」「世界の屋根を撃つ雨のリズム」「通りゃんせ」などのB面曲の異色の出来にもう大満足！！！というわけでこのコンテナには88曲の宝物が詰まってますね、ほんとに。 今更ですが全部をフォルダーに詰め込んで車の中で楽しんでます。



興奮してタイトルに関係のないクリアファイルの写真を挿入してますが（笑）、B面曲と言えばこのセット以外でも強力で特に「経験II」は間違いなく名曲！？（歌詞にも大注目！）だと思いますが、皆さんはどうでしょうか？？？

最近ボウリングで盛り上がっている桑田さん（笑）です。
松任谷由実さんと並んで私が邦楽で唯一CDを集めるのが楽しいと思えるアーティストですね。
ちなみにYumingと私の誕生日は同じやでえ〜（断言！）。うわ〜どおでもええ〜。

商売上手というか今流行りのクリアファイルはもちろんのことハンカチやタオルだったりステッカー、バッジ、ポスターとシングルとはいえ、いやこんなCDの売れない時代のシングルだからこそ付加価値を付けて売ろう！という戦略でしょうか。そもそも、もう洋楽アーティストのCDシングルなんて販売されませんもんね（悲）。

私は基本的には音源派なのでアルバム未収録曲目当てにシングルを買うのであまりおまけグッズに触手は動かないのですが、それでもメルカリなどではまだまだ初回限定盤が未開封か新品同様品が安価で購入できて、そういう時はやはりおまけ付きのものを選んじゃいますね。

ボウリング場限定と聞けばもうほとんど行かなくなったボウリング場に足を運び（笑）、



桑田さんがボーカルを取っていると聞けばそれが一、二曲でもタワーレコード限定盤を購入し（笑）、



原由子さんのベストまで手を広げて（笑）。

まあコレクターはこの音源探しの時間が至福の時なんですよね。
やっぱおもしろうてやめられまへんは。
