昨日からiTunes StoreにてU2の配信音源リサーチの旅に出たのですが（笑）その道中にまず見つけたのが15年前（2005年7月2日）に行われた「Live 8」でのPaul McCartneyと共演したオープニング曲でもある「SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band」と「The Long & Winding Road」との二曲入り配信シングルでした。

DVD発売された当時の映像は購入していたのですが音としても欲しくなりすかさずGet。
そして更にリサーチを進めるとなんとロンドンとフィラデルフィアでのコンサートを中心とした115曲分を網羅した「Live 8」音源が売られていることに気付くのでした！！！金額を見るとさらに驚きの＄16.99（豪ドル）！や、やすいじゃんか！

一瞬この安さに目を疑ったのですが（サブスクしてストリーミングされる方には音源ファイル購入は高く思われるでしょうが、なんせオジサン世代はレコードやらCDやらファイルやらと所有欲が大でブツが欲しいのですよ・・・）このついでに更にさかのぼりひょっとして「Live Aid」（1985年7月13日）の音源も売っているのではと奥の細道へ入っていくと・・・

やっぱありました！！！
同じくiTunes Storeで93曲入りで＄67.99（同じく豪ドル）。
今度のリアクションはさっきと逆で、うう〜ん、欲しいけどちょっとここまでは出せないなと・・・。
そこで今度はJay ZのTidalを覗いたのですがなんとこちらでも両ライブを発見！なんとLive 8が$11.99、Live Aidが$35.99とこれなら手が出せそう、ということでまずはLive Aidを買ってみました。

何故だか演奏順ではないのですが改めてセットリストを見ると圧巻！おお〜音質もいいぞ！
若きU2、Bryan Ferry、David BowieのHeroes、Mick JaggerとTina TurnerのState Of Shock、Eric ClaptonのLayla、Queenの瞬殺リスト、80年代に活躍していたアーティストなどなど35年の時を経て「音」でも我が家でLive Aidが蘇りました！！！いいねこれ！次はLive 8いきますよお〜！
