Reimu's Pokémon blog (Japanese Pokémon trainer)

This is my second challenge.
I fought in Online Ranked Battle with only Water type Pokémon!
Last time, I had used Gastrodon as an Electric killer, but this time I used Lanturn. Its Ability Volt Absorb erases damage of Electric attack, and restores Lanturn by 1/4HP.

Slowbro does Trick Room and Clawitzer(Guiet Nature, Most Slow) devastate opponents!
Sharpedo’s Ability Speed Boost increases Sharpedo’s Speed Stat every turn!


9 battles, 5wins and 4loses.
In Casual Battle, I won 60~70%.
It’s not such a bad result!



〈Clawitzer〉

Nature: Quiet
Moves: Water Pulse, Dark Pulse, Aura Sphere, Dragon Pulse
EV spread: H252 C252 D4

Its IV(Individual Value) of Speed is 0. This Clawitzer has the lowest Speed Stat. By using Trick Room, It can move faster than many opponents.

This Clawitzer is slower than Aegislash without fail. (Aegislash’s Base Stat of Speed is 60, Clawitzer is 59)


〈Sharpedo〉

Ability: Speed Boost
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Adamant
Moves: Waterfall, Crunch, Psychic Fangs, Close Combat
EV spread: A252 S252 D4

It increases its Speed every end of turns by Ability Speed Boost!
When it Dynamaxes and uses Max Knuckle, it boosts its Attack and Speed Stats in one turn!
Good Dynamax Attacker. But it has too low Defense and Sp.Defense Stats… It can’t receive many attacks.


〈Azumarill〉

Moves: Scald, Draining Kiss, Ice Beam, Charm
EV spread: H252 B156 C60 D4 S36

It is immune to Grass type move.
When it receives Grass type move, the Ability boosts its Attack Stat. But it remembers Sp.attack moves. It is because Azumarill doesn’t want to blow Ferrothorn. Ferrothorn’s Ability Iron Barbs hurts physical attackers.
And Azumarill’s Sp.ATK Stat is higher than ATK. Moreover, Azumarill’s special attack moves are better than physical attack moves.
(Ice Punch 75, Ice Beam 90)(Water type, Scald has a Burn effect)


〈Slowbro〉

Nature: Quiet
Moves: Psychic, Trick Room, Flamethrower, Ice Beam

Slowbro does Trick Room for Clawitzer.
The Expert Belt is for Ferrothorn. If it didn’t have the Expert Belt, it may not was able to defeat Ferrothorn at one blow.
Its Speed’s IV is 0. It is the slowest Slowbro.

Thanks to Ability Volt Absorb, this Lanturn can receive Electric type attacks, especially Zapdos. Zapdos’ types of attacks are Flying, Electric, and Fire(It’s Heat Wave). Lanturn can receive all these attacks!


〈Suicune〉

Ability: Pressure
Item: Chesto Berry
Nature:Calm
Moves: Scald, Rest, Sheer Cold, Calm Mind
EV spread: H252 B116 C4 D116 S20

For Galarian Corsola, Toxapex, Skarmory, etc…
It will defeat these tank Pokémon by Sheer Cold!
A combo of Rest and Chest Berry is very effective.


A combination of Lanturn(Volt Absorb) and Azumarill(Sap Sipper) worked well! Opponents usually sent out Electric and Grass type Pokémon. But I have received them easily thanks to these two Pokémon!
Outsmarting opponents is very fun! (Am I bad man?)

Sharpedo is a good attacker. But in terms of Defense, it is too unreliable to use as a main attacker.
Sharpedo is an unsteady Pokémon! If you use it, you can go through thrilling battles.
But I had enjoyed it!
