Reimu's Pokémon blog (Japanese Pokémon trainer)

From the release of the Crown Tundra, 4 fossil Pokémon can get their Hidden Ability. The Pokémon are Dracovish, Dracozolt, Arctozolt, and Arctovish.

This time, I had fought with two Sand Rush Pokémon.(Dracovish and Dracozolt)
The combo of their high Speeds in the Sandstorm and Fishious Rend (and Bolt Beak) is very strong.
Fishious Rend and Bolt Beak’s attack power are doubled when the user moves first!

After Sandaconda summons Sandstorm, Dracovish and Dracozolt devastate opponents! It’s a simple strategy.


I battled 4 times in Ranked Battle, and won 4 times!
In Casual Battle, I lost only 1 time.

When it is attacked, it summons Sandstorm by its Ability Sand Spit.
This Sandstorm tends to last longer than Sand Stream’s. Because Sand Spit activates later than Sand Stream.

Glare is a very nice non-damaging move! It can paralyze the target even if the target is Ground type! Glare’s accuracy is 100%! (Thunder Wave is 90%)

Fishious Rend’s base attack power is 85. But it will be 170 when Dracovish moves first!
It can summon Sandstorm by itself by Dynamax and Max Rockfall. Dracovish’s Speed Stat is doubled in Sandstorm! (So it can do Fishious Rend faster than opponents)

It’s also Sand Rush fossil Pokémon.
There are many strong tank Pokémon in Ranked battle now. Tapu Fini, Celesteela, Skarmory, Corviknight, Toxapex, etc.
Dracozolt can do super effective attacks to these physical tank Pokémon! There are not so many Electric type physical attackers!

Super high Speed Attacker!
It can defeat Fairy Pokémon by Poison Jab and Choice Band’s power. (But it can’t defeat Tapu Fini in one blow. Tapu Fini’s Defence and HP stats are too high)

When it knocks down opponents, its Speed stat will rise by Ability Beast Boost! (If its Nature is Adamant, Beast Boost will raise its Attack stat. But this Pheromosa is Jolly)

Sandaconda, Dracovish, Dracozolt, and Pheromosa are all physical attackers. So I had been afraid of Steel type high Defence Pokémon.
This Heatran is my answer.

Thanks to Ability Serene Grace, its Air Slash has a 60% chance of causing flinch! If Togekiss lowers the opponent’s Speed by Thunder Wave, the opponent will definitely be annoyed!
The opponent will hardly move because of flinching and paralysis.

It can stop Dynamaxed Pokémon by Focus Sash and Thunder Wave.


It’s a very fantastic team! Strong! I was pleasant when the strategy I had come up with went well.
But Galarian Corsola and Amoonguss are natural enemies of this team!

Sandaconda is my favorite Pokémon. I am glad that Sandaconda’s Ability Sand Spit worked well. (When I used Sandaconda before, I couldn’t use Sandstorm weather well)

Dracozolt has a Weakness Policy. And Max Wyrmwind lowers an opponent's Attack Stat. So Dracozolt is easy to receive weakness physical attacks and activate Weakness Policy.
