I had been challenged Ranked Battles of Pokémon SwSh with only Ice type Pokémon!

Ice type can halve only Ice type attacks! Although Steel type can halve Normal, Grass, Ice, Flying, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Dragon, Steel, and Fairy attack…(9 types)
But Eiscue is strong to physical attackers. Alolan Ninetales can use Aurora Vail. So surprisingly, Ice types are good at defence!

Mamoswine,
Alolan Ninetales,
Glalie.

Piloswine is a Physical tank, and Mamoswine is a Sp.tank. Both Piloswine and Mamoswine are strong against Charizard and Volcarona.

If Charizard or Volcarona is in opponent’s party, Piloswine will go first, and use Stealth Rock.
Stealth Rock halves both Charizard’s and Volcarona’s HP!
Piloswine itself can use Rock type attack.(Rock Tomb)


3 wins and 3 losses in Ranked Battle.

I sometimes force myself to use Frosmoth. (I wanted to use Frosmoth. It’s cute and interesting Pokémon!)
I had tried various things this time. But I somehow won 50%.
It's a pleasing result for me!



〈Frosmoth〉

Ability: Ice Scales

Moves: Ice Beam, Bug Buss, Giga Drain, Air Slash

By its Ability Ice Scales, its Sp.Defence was doubled! But it will be stopped by Fire and Steel type Pokémon!
Frosmoth don’t have an attack against Fire or Steel type.
And this Pokémon takes 4 times damage from Fire and Rock type attacks!

Frosmoth has an effective Ability, but has many weak spots. It is maybe a strong Pokémon, but very difficult to use in this Ice only party.


〈Eiscue〉

Its Ability, Ice Face protects it from one physical attack. and when the weather is changed to hail, it restores its Ice Face again.

1st turn: It receives a physical attack by Ice Face, it changes its form and increases its speed, and Eiscue do Belly Drum and boosts its attack by 6 stages.

2nd turn: Eiscue Dynamaxes and uses Max Hailstorm, It will be heil weather, and it restores its Ice Face and can receive one more physical attack!


〈Piloswine〉

Super physical tank!
By Stealth Rock, it can halve Charizard’s and Valcarona’s HP!
By its Ability Thick Fat, Fire type move is normal effective in essence.
By Rock Tomb, Charizard and Volcarona take 4times damage!

It’s a very suitable Pokémon for this Ice only team.

It’s stronger against Charizard and Volcarona than Piloswine. But it can’t use Stealth Rock because of Assault Vest.
Of course, its attacking power is stronger than Piloswine. It’s OK to choose both Piloswine and Mamoswine in one battle.

It can summon hail in battle as soon as Ninetales enters the battle. And Ice type strong move, Aurora Veil, can only be used during hail.

Aurora Veil is a very useful move! But this time, Ninetales was sent out not so many times. It is because Piloswine and Mamoswine are perfect defenders for this party!

It was taken its turns by Thick Fat Pokémon.

Item: Leftovers
Nature: Timid
Moves: Freeze-Dry, Earthquake, Protect, Substitute
EV Spreads: H252 D4 S252

It increases its something Stats by 2 ranks, and lowers its any Stats by 1 rank in every ends of turns

If you are lucky, it will become stronger and stronger. But if you are unlucky, it will be defeated because of lowered Speed or Defence(Sp.Def) Stats.

It can increase Stats many times by Protect, Substitute, and Leftovers! It takes many turns. The opponent must be annoyed!!!


Glalie is a very interesting Pokémon!
I don’t know but maybe, Glalie is not a weak Pokémon.
It is important to be faster than the opponent’s Pokémon. Because it is better to use Substitute before opponents move.

Mamoswine and Piloswine are very nice! Piloswine is the most active Pokémon in this team. If an opponent sent out defensively strong Pokémon, it’s time to Fissure!

Luck is important to this party because of One-hit knockout moves and Ability Moody.
All battles were very thrilling and exciting!
