Far backcountry life in Japan

Most rice fields are rice planted early May. ‘Taue’ is rice planting in Japanese.

Like last year, we had Nakagawa-machi volunteers operate event called ‘Hanakaze Matsuri’. This year, I have visited Koisago art forest. There were number of statues directly made from tree stumps. They are there all day and night standing by themselves.
