バンコク楽宮ホテル

バンコク楽宮ホテルに泊まったことがあります。
サパンクワーイ、スティサーンインタマラソイ１のスダパレスに宿泊していました。
あえて楽宮ホテルに泊まったのには理由があります。
バックパッカーたちの評判を聞きつけ、自分で確かめたくなったからです。
４階の一番上等の部屋を借りました。
部屋は広く、大きなベッドが二つもありましたが、トイレは不潔で昭和の公衆便所！
それでも幸せでした。
数日しか宿泊しなかったのですが、思い出は強烈です。
やさしかった下の階のおばさんはラーメンをつくりわたしの部屋まで運んでくれました。
夕方北京飯店で晩酌をし、酔っぱらってあたりを徘徊しました。
売れ残っている娼婦たちを部屋に連れ込んで宴会をしました。
ただただ淋しかったからです。
１０人以上がわたしの部屋ですごしました。
みなやさしかった。
ラジカセの音楽を流し、安いビールとウイスキーでもりあがりました。
わたしは満腹でも、彼女たちは飢えていました。
わたしがお金を渡して買ってきたチキンの丸焼きにかぶりついていました。
むねがつまります。
