We have a water server in our office... what a surprise!
When you look at it, they are buying deep sea water and offering it for free!

My last company... it was tap water (laughs).

Well, I've heard of it, but this is the first time it's right in front of me, within reach of the capital.

Deep ocean water refers to seawater at depths ranging from several hundred to several thousand meters down the continental slope.
These deep waters are less subject to external influences than surface seawater.
So it is characterized by low levels of contaminants and rich in certain minerals.

For safety standards, Japan has a law called the "Law for the Promotion of Deep Sea Water Utilization".
This includes standards for the collection and use of deep ocean water.
Based on this law, quality standards for deep seawater, collection methods, and methods of use are stipulated.

Before deep ocean water can be marketed as a product, it must pass a number of physical, chemical, and biological tests and meet certain standards.

But I originally carry reduced water in my water bottle!
I did that at my last place of work.　And I'm doing so at my new workplace.

However, the water bottle holds 1.5L... it's heavy

So I was hoping to drink deep sea water.
This would reduce the 1.5 kg of weight at work!
But...

I tasted it.
I thought it might taste somewhat better because it was moderately chilled (hot is also available).
I just didn't want to drink it all the time.

It's like something heavy is flowing down the back of my throat.
I don't know how to put it better.

So I still carry the reduced water generated at home in a water bottle
