If you visit Arashiyama, the cherry blossoms in Tenryu-ji Temple are a must-see.
Various cherry trees are planted throughout the precincts, but the recommended is the weeping cherry trees planted along the cliff near Taho-den.
Tenryu-ji Temple buried in cherry blossoms ... It's a magnificent scenery that can see only here.
There are not so many cherry trees, but the view from the cliff is a must see!
By the way, from the observation deck in Arashiyama Park next to Tenryu-ji Temple, you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of Hozu-gawa Gorge.
