2017 Ranking No.8 Kiyomizu-dera Temple
This year, the autumn colors at Kiyomizu-dera Temple was somewhat less powerful than other autumnal leaves that showed more vividness than usual.
However, vivid autumnal leaves were seen around the pagoda, and it was crowded with many tourists.
This year there was renovation work of the main hall, we could not have enjoyed the famous superb view, but the colorful autumn leaves were beautiful.

2017 Ranking No.9 Komyo-ji Temple
This year's autumn leaves at Komyo-ji Temple were more vivid than last year.
The only disappointment was that it overlapped with the renovation work of Chokushi-mon Gate, one of the highlights.
Still, another highlight, the approach covered with Maple showed us the beauty as usual.
Many highlights are scattered around the wide precincts.
Next year the renovation of Chokushi-mon Gate is over and it seems that you can see more brilliant autumn leaves.

Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is a valuable place in the center of Kyoto.

At here, autumn leaves start to color from one week to two weeks later than other autumn leaves sights.
It is also characteristic that bright red maples are planted in patches.
It is a must see that the bright yellow of the large ginkgo behind the main hall.

First of all, it is Tenju-an Temple beside Nanzen-ji Temple.
It is a small temple, but it showed vibrant autumn leaves more than usual.
Next, is Enri-an Temple in Arashiyama.
It is a very small temple, but also it is a very famous place to the expert of autumn colors.
Next, is Komyo-in Temple that is a tatchu of Tofuku-ji Temple.
(Tatchu is sub-temple on the site of the main temple.)
