Facebook to keep banning Trump for at least two more years
Nick Clegg, Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, said the two-year ban − the highest penalty available − is justified because Trump committed “a severe violation of our rules” by praising the far-right mob that stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. The ban will also apply to Trump’s account on Instagram, which is owned by Facebook.
