This time, I introduce Well-established store of Japanese tea...
Ippo-do
The famous Japanese tea specialty store, the head office of Ippo-do is located along the Teramachi Street, on the north side of Kyoto City Hall.
This shop has also a japanese tea cafe, and you can be taught how to make japanese tea by the store clerk.
Amazingly delicious!
It seems a different drink from a green tea I usually drink...

Souvenir de Kyoto! 2018
I will introduce you carefully selected stores & souvenirs from many souvenir shops in Kyoto.
The first time of this series, I introduce
CROCHET
CROCHET is located along a narrow street named Ayanokoji-Dori, on the south side of Shijo Street.
The interior is very simple. You can feel the spirit of the store designer.
(I'm sorry that above picture is getting smaller.)
The recommendation is a set of 5 pieces (You can choose these freely).
That began to be sold this year.
This store deals with around 30 kinds of candy, and each candy is named,
Versailles ...
Harvest in Burgundy ...
...These has a very fashionable name.
The prices are at around 500 yen. It's reasonable.
When you come to the vicinity of Kawaramachi area, please stop by all means!

Saiho-ji Temple
Saiho-ji Temple covered with moss ... Here is a really special place.
It’s said that Mr. Charles Moore, a famous American architect, praised this temple.
The mosses about 120 types are growing in the precincts.
It's a place like "a heaven of moss". (above image is a movie)
The admission application will take a little time and effort, but the value is more than enough.

Katsura Imperial Villa
The beauty of World Heritage Site, Katsura Imperial Villa is on a splendid harmony of architecture and nature.
In the vast chisen-kaiyushiki garden (a type of Japanese garden with a pond in the centre),
scenic spots are scattered everywhere.
Building already built 400 years ago, its straight lines has graceful, delicate and bold beauty.
It looks like minimal design in the 20th century.
September has begun and it has become a comfortable season.
Even after typhoon season, you can enjoy the beautiful green.
