Souvenir de Kyoto! 2018...Amenbodo

Souvenir de Kyoto! 2018
This time, I'll introduce Amenbodo, which is located in a residential area about 10 minutes on foot from JR Enmachi Station.
More than 20 kinds of karinto are lined up in the store, which is a renovated Nagaya (traditional Japanese building).
Although not all flavors, you can also taste.
From top left, sesame, soybean flour, coffee
wasabi, brown sugar, cheese
All of them are delicious, but I highly recommend the soybean flour flabor and cheese flabor.
There are no major tourist attractions nearby, so you'll need to set aside time just for the karinto here.
Each karinto is different not only in taste but also in texture, so it's a lot of fun to find your favorite flavor.
Simply put, it's a really cool store!

This time, I'll introduce a store famous for lees pickles and Saikyo pickles,
Kyoraku Tsujigahana
I think it used to be near Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, but now it has a store in downtown Sanjo area.

Gallery Hitamuki
It’s a gallery in a stylish area behind Kyoto City Hall.
In the gallery exhibiting mainly tableware, incense holder, etc.,
the exhibits are changed every three weeks, so there is a new encounter every time you visit.
I purchased the lacquerware on the right side (spoon is sold separately).（￥8100）
It’s not a souvenir unique to Kyoto, but you can buy good products relatively low price.
It's recommended.

This week, I introduce a long-established Japanese tea shop, Ryuo-en Chaho as the last of souvenir series of this year.
This shop is very famous for Matcha. But not only that, green tea, hojicha (roasted tea), and bancha (coarse tea) are also really delicious.
These are not fallen leaves on the roadside, but bancha (coarse tea) leaves.
How to make bancha: you boil these tea leaves with kettle etc. for about 1 minute, immediately remove only tea leaves and wait for 10 minutes.
The coarse tea with splendid fragrance was done.

This week, I introduce Kazariya Ryo which is located in the north side of Kyoto City Hall where there are a lot of shops with a refined taste.
It is a small shop which sells silverwork mainly, located about 3 minutes on foot from Kyoto City Hall.
The inside of the shop is a small tatami flooring, accessories etc are lined up.
(Please take off your shoes, and look for your favorite.)
My recommendation is a bookmark of a cat.
Besides this, there are various designs such as monkeys and ginkgo leaves etc.
There are so cute and stylish items such as Obidome (clip of kimono belt), Netsuke (japanese accessory), mobile straps and so on.
