若いカップルなのか、巣作りは今回が初めてのようです。
隣は会社ですが、今は車庫になっていて、人の出入りはあまりありません。
それでも、じきに隣の会社の人に巣が見つかってしまうでしょう。
数年前と状況は変わっていますが、今後の成り行きを見守りたいと思います。
とりあえず、藁が地面にたくさん落ちていたので、掃除をしておきました。
今後も様子を見て、フンの掃除などをしていく予定です。
隣の掃除をする場所は屋外で、冬は除雪をすることもあります。
また、隣家の住人でもあるので、ちょっとした掃除くらいはしてもよいかなと思っています。
今日は大きな川の河川敷を歩きました。
カッコウさんのさえずりが何度か聞こえました。
カッコウさんは木の天辺などの分かりすい場所にいるので見つけやすいです。
目の前の木から、アオゲラさんの鳴き声がしたので、探してみましたが、見つかりませんでした。
草木が生い茂ってきているので、野鳥さんたちがじっとしていると、姿を見つけるのが難しいかもしれません(^^;。
When I went outside in the daytime, a pair of barn swallows next door had started building a nest.
It seems that this is the first time for them to build a nest, probably because they are a young couple.
Next door is a company, but now it's a garage, and there aren't many people coming and going.
Even so, the nest will soon be found by someone from the next company.
The situation has changed from a few years ago, but I would like to watch the future developments.
For the time being, there was a lot of straw on the ground, so I cleaned it up.
We will continue to monitor the situation and clean up barn swallow's droppings.
The cleaning place next door is outdoors, and we sometimes remove snow in the winter.
Also, since I live next door, I think it's okay to do a little cleaning.
Today I walked along the riverbed of a big river.
I heard the common cuckoo chirping several times.
common Cuckoos are easy to find because they are in obvious places such as treetops.
From the tree in front of me, I heard the cry of a japanese green woodpecker, so I looked for it, but I could not find it.
The trees and plants are growing thickly, so if the wild birds stay still, it may be difficult to find them (^^;.
