Thanks A Million - Cunard raises ￡1million for The Prince's Trust

Over the past 6 years staff from our head office, our guests and our crew have been raising money for The Prince's Trust.

To celebrate raising ￡1million, we were joined on board Queen Victoria today by guests and Ambassadors for the Trust including actor Robert Powell, comedian Adrian Walsh and BLAKE.

Cunard CEO David Dingle and #QV's Captain Inger Klein-Thorhauge presented Martina Milburn, CEO of The Prince's Trust with the ￡1million cheque!

Queen Mary 2's Mid Atlantic Mercy Mission

In September 2013, Queen Mary 2 came to the aid of Canadian solo rower, Mylene Paquette who had capsized in the mid-Atlantic, 83 days into her 130-day journey from Halifax to Lorient in France.

On 15 December 2013, Mylene met Captain Kevin Oprey for the first time since their rendezvous. This is the story of what happened.
