Queen Mary photographer from 1950s revisits Cunard

Dick Dawson, a photographer on board Queen Mary in the 1950s, visited Queen Mary 2 recently to see the photos he took of the Hollywood Greats which now form part of the ship's Maritime Quest display.

Here Dick remembers what it was like to photograph Elizabeth Taylor among others...

Cunard Line announces 2014 James Taylor Transatlantic Voyage

Cunard Line and James Taylor will team up once again when the iconic singer and his band travel from New York City to Southampton on the iconic ocean liner, Queen Mary 2.

In 2009, Taylor, his family and the band took a similar voyage, using the liner's elegant Royal Court Theatre as a band rehearsal venue by day and -- on one special night -- staged a sold-out concert for the ship's guests. In addition, the singer did a Q&A session with the ship's Entertainment Director, and even took time out to meet and sign autographs for the ship's lucky guests in the Grand Lobby.

This video features select footage and guest comments from Taylor's 2009 Transatlantic Crossing.
