Positive signs in COVID infection, hospital trends in Bay Area. It's unclear if they will hold
The Bay Area may be seeing the first signs that the delta surge is finally waning. But public health experts warn that this fourth wave is unlike any other the region has seen so far, and it’s too soon to say how fast it will ebb.
The rules require employees who work in high-risk settings, like police officers, to be vaccinated by Oct. 13. All other employees must be fully inoculated by November.
