Judge dismisses congressman’s suit seeking to alter formal count of Biden’s electoral college votes
A federal judge in Texas ruled that Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Tex.) lacked the legal standing to challenge the formal process for counting electoral college votes. Gohmert had claimed Vice President Pence had the power to determine which votes should be counted.
