U.S. troops will stay in Afghanistan until all American civilians are out, even if it’s past Aug. 31 deadline, Biden says
“If there are American citizens left, we’re going to stay until we get them all out,” President Biden said Wednesday in an interview with ABC News. Estimates place the number of Americans in Afghanistan between 11,000 and 15,000.
