Taliban fighters enter Kabul, which could lead to collapse of Afghan government
Taliban forces pushed into the Afghan capital through the city’s four main gates Sunday, according to a senior Afghan official and civilian eyewitnesses. The militants reached Kabul as helicopters landed at the U.S. Embassy and smoke was seen emerging from the diplomatic compound’s roof.
