In celebration of the American Flag, this limited edition V1 Classic is decked out in red, white & blue.

The legendary Classic V1 turns 20 years old!

To celebrate this true icon of the tennis industry, Volkl introduces a limited edition model with the proud colors of Old Glory.

Volkl has only produced 1,000 of these racquets, each one numbered and featuring a beautiful Red, White & Blue cosmetic.

Labeled a "virtual extension of the arm" by TENNIS Magazine in 1995, the Classic V-1 vaulted to popularity throughout the mid- '90s as an "arm saver" and remains one of Volkl's best selling racquets.

The first racquet to incorporate Volkl's patented Big Grommets, the Classic V-1 has outstanding　maneuverability like a midplus but has the forgiveness of an oversize.

Volkl's Dual Damping Grip effectively reduces shock and vibration for a comfortable, dampened response.

Indeed, our TW playtesters enjoyed the Classic V-1 for its distinctly cushioned feel and its ability to retain touch and some racquet feedback.

The Classic V-1 will appeal to a broad cross-section of players.

Improving beginners will find adequate power in the 102 sq in head, while intermediate and advanced players can adjust string tension to gain the control they require.

ちなみに，２０年同じモデルを発売しているというのは，現行モデルでは少ないし各メーカーの代表機種ですよね・・・

素材を変えたりしているのは数あれど・・・当時と同じもので海外で発売されているのは？

　　昔のモデルのmidも海外では未だ発売されている！！

ということで，フォルクルとプリンスだけなんかなぁ〜　スゲーなぁ

メーカーはあの手この手で毎年デザインを変えて販売量増を画策している。

ラケット自体に毎年毎年新機能が追加になったら，果たしてどうなることやら・・・

それが出来ないから，工場の生産ラインを止めないように毎年カラーリングのみの変更をしている某メーカーもある

日本代理店も，その営業も・・・

認知度を上げるためにいろんなイベントをするが，予算も無いのかな・・・

良いモノをつくっても，プロが使っていなかったら誰にも認知はされにくいのだからね・・・工夫しないと

多額の費用を投じてプロに使ってもらう必要までは無いとおもうが
