1986年、小型航空機と航空機用エンジンの研究開始して以来、約30年の時をかけ・・・ついに、この日がやってきました。米国東部時間2015年12月8日、HondaJetは米国連邦航空局（FAA）より型式証明を取得。翌9日、ホンダ エアクラフト カンパニー（HACI）にて記念式典を開催しました。
