In federal courtroom far from his hometown, remnants of R. Kelly’s superstardom evaporate in sweeping racketeering, sex crimes conviction
R. Kelly was convicted by a federal jury in New York on Monday of racketeering conspiracy alleging he headed a criminal enterprise that employed agents, bodyguards and others to lure girls and young women to satisfy his sexual desires.
