An executive at the Prime Minister's Office seems to want to give momentum to the Olympics when the Australian team comes to Japan.
Chief Cabinet Secretary Katsunobu Kato said at a press conference on May 31 that "it will also lead to the realization that the tournament is approaching."
An executive of the Games Organizing Committee also seems to think, "If the news of athletes entering the country increases, the atmosphere will change."
However, the convergence of the new corona is still uncertain.
Masakazu Tokura, who became the new chairman of Keidanren on June 1, pointed out as follows.
The government is currently preparing various systems for holding the Games, including vaccination, but it should be determined and implemented after a safe and secure system has been established.
If not, public opinion is quite harsh.
