There is no option to cancel 1
Vaccination of the Japanese team at the Tokyo Olympics seems to have started on June 1st at the Ajinomoto National Training Center.
On the first day, about 200 athletes will be inoculated.
By mid-July, about 1,600 athletes and officials are expected to complete the two vaccinations.
Mitsugu Ogata, general manager of the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC), said, "There was a voice from the athletes saying,'We can play with confidence.'"
Vaccination of the Japanese team also started on this day, and preparations for the Olympics are accelerating.
Given the burden on the medical system and the difficulty in predicting the status of infection, there are concerns that the Olympics will benefit the people, but officials at the official residence say, "There is no option to cancel."
