The second social demonstration will be the maintenance and operation of stations that supply hydrogen to FCVs.
Two stations will be set up in Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka City, and a "hydrogen highway" will be built between them.
Each station has a different method of obtaining hydrogen to be used.
The "Kitakyushu Hydrogen Station" is an off-site type station that uses part of the 500 million m3 of by-product hydrogen generated annually at steelworks in the city.
