This time is...
2016 Ranking No.9 Kitano-tenmangu Shrine
I was able to enjoy colorful autumn leaves in the very large maple garden.
Tenjin River flowing through the precincts turned red by fallen leaves.
A large ginkgo behind the main shrine building is one of the highlights.
Approximately 300 maples have been planted here, and the best time to see lasts more than a week.
(Some maples are bright red until early December.)
If the timing of your visit matches, you can also see the performance by Maiko.
It is relatively common autumn leaves, but it is worth seeing!
