Best time information (11/19 up) :
The autumn leaves have become the best time to see in the city area of Kyoto such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Tofuku-ji Temple.
Following the last time, I picked up a few spots in the city area of Kyoto.
First, it's a classic staple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
It seems that the best time to see will last until around November 25.
Next, is Tofuku-ji Temple that passed the peak of the best time.
Not only in the precincts but also in the residential area around the temple, you can see stunning autumn leaves.
In addition, it is after November 23 that you will be able to see the beautiful scenery at Komyo-in Temple and Ryogin-an Temple near here.
Next, is Jojakko-in Temple that is a very famous temple in Arashiyama area.
You can see very vivid and beautiful autumn leaves.
This is my recommendation.
Finally, it is Eikan-do Temple that is a specialist of autumn leaves.
It is already the best time to see here, but it is around November 23 that you will be able to see the crimson forest.
Next week, it is likely to be in the best time to see at Koto-in Temple, Hogon-in Temple, Kitano Tenman-gu Shrine, Jonan-gu Shrine and so on.

Ryoan-ji Temple is famous for its rock garden, but also the autumn colors are a must-see.
The autumn colors of the last year were poor generally, but the colored leaves here were very vivid.
Next, is Kiyomizu-dera Temple that was ranked 3rd place of last year.
The above picture was taken before 9 am. The precincts are still in the shade.
The best visiting time is after 10 am when the sunlight goes in.
The scenery where the large precincts are stained with deep red is a masterpiece.
Finally, it is Hogon-in Temple that was ranked 1st place of last year.
It is a small temple in Arashiyama area, but it is so beautiful and so splendid!
