コラテラル

21日(日) 今日は映画『コラテラル』を観ました。

自分たちが起訴されることを知った麻薬組織は，重要な証人たちを殺害するために，一流のプロの殺し屋ヴィンセント(トム･クルーズ)を雇った。
単身でロサンゼルスの空港に降り立ったヴィンセントは，今夜この街で，わずか一夜のうちに５人を殺す指令を受けていた。
ヴィンセントが拾ったタクシーを運転していたのは，これまでの12年間，平凡な日々を送ってきた男，マックス(ジェイミー･フォックス)だった。
ヴィンセントは，マックスを人質にとりながら冷徹に殺害計画を実行していく。
最初のうちはヴィンセントに言われるがままに従っていたマックスだが，本当の自分自身を取り戻し反撃を開始する。
そして，ヴィンセントの綿密な行動には，わずかな狂いが生じていく。
警察やＦＢＩがマックスのタクシーを追いかける中，はからずも，生き残るためにはお互いを必要とする関係となったふたりの男が，しだいに夜明けが近づくロサンゼルスの街で，それぞれの人生を永遠に変えてしまうクライマックスへ向かってノンストップで疾走していく。

昔，試写会で，今日はテレビの日曜洋画劇場で観ました。
最後のオフィスビルでの，そして地下鉄の中でのヴィンセント対マックス＆アニーの攻防は見応え十分でした。
