日本人の英語の感覚は、何かおかしい！
日本語で考えて単語を置き換えていると相当変な英語になる。

今日は、いい天気ですね！
It is fine,isn't it!

あのコンビニは近くて便利だ。

日本語の主語を英語の主語にしてはいけない例だ。

天気・天候・時間・物の状態・・・を表す主語は、

　　　　　It

である。

また状態を表す場合、そのものの状態自体の場合は、

It is *** for

ではなく

　　　　It is *** of

である。

中学の英語で出てくるではないか？！！！


では、マイケルジャクソンの

　　　This is it !

は、どんな意味だと思いますか？

先の記述でItとは、天気・天候・時間・物の状態・・・を表す主語または名詞であって

なんとなく
　　　　　　これなんだ！（これが最高なんだ！）
　　　　　　この時なんだ！（このときが最高なんだ！）
　　　　　　これがこのものなんだ！（これが最高なんだ！）

なんてニュアンスを伝えていると思います。
