This is the first episode in an upcoming series from my travels to Los Buzos Resort on the Pacific coast of Panama. I'm working with the lodge and heading out there 3-4 times a year to guide groups of anglers for bucket list species from a kayak or panga.
This episode follows me on my very first trip to the lodge. It's a story that's full of ups and downs as I work to figure out the fishery off Panama’s Pacific coast.

In this episode, I head to the lump on Day 3, an area where the depths comes up from 300 feet to 30 feet that's known for big fish. The yellowfin tuna are slamming the poppers, but I make a stubborn decision that costs me what could have been an epic day.
Then on Day 4, I have ONE species on my mind: roosterfish. With just hours left before our trip comes to an end, I finally get a shot at knocking this species off my bucket list. The question is, can I land it?
