だんだん秋が深まってまいりました。。。夏が遠ざかってちょっとさみしい私なのですが、いま友人が常夏の国、ハワイに遊びに行っています。Fall has come, and I feel sad summer is going to leave... But my friend is in Hawaii right now, where it is summer year-round!
みんなハワイに行く時は必ず事前に私に連絡をくれます。(*゜▽゜*) everytime someone visits Hawaii, they would give me a shout.
とりあえずその人のハワイの訪れ回数によって、お勧めのＢ級グルメやプレイスポットを伝授？して差し上げます。So then I would point them out in a few suggested directions (food, sightseeing, what not) according to how many times they'd previously visited.
泊るホテルや、いくメンバーの年齢、少しずつ趣向が違いますが、どの年齢の方もみんな大満足の島 The choice of stay, age groups, preferences, all of a variety, but whoever it may be, this island can satisfy anyone!

彼女には今回アンバサダーホテルに泊まるとの事なので、歩いてすぐの、エッグｽﾝシングスをご紹介 My friend had chosen the Ambassador Hotel, so I had told her about the "Eggs n' Things" which is right near by.

勢いあまってつい注文してしまうストロベリーパンケーキ
The strawberry pancakes, something you can never restrain from ordering.
カプチーノも超ビッグ！ 日本人女性は一人では無理ですねえ。。。。(≧▽≦)
And the cappuccino is huge! A Japanese average female could not finish this...

碧の砂のビーチ
ハワイ島 サウスポイントに碧色の砂のビーチがあります。Island of Hawaii. Green Sand Beach at the Southern point of the island.
たどり着くには、ジープ等が良いです。ほんとにひどい道のりです。。。さすがアドベンチャーランドハワイ島！道が激しく凸凹しています。 (((( ；ﾟДﾟ)))ガタガタ））））））頭を車の天井にぶつけながら、
行きは何とかたどり着きましたが、帰りはついにタイヤがとがった何かを踏んで、パンクしてしまいました。あまり車も通らないところでしたが、よその国の観光客に助けられました。（良い思い出です）To get there some sort of four-wheeler, a jeep for instance, because the road is just horrible.... But that's what we'd asked for, right?--- an Adventure! We were able to get to the beach safely, but on the way back... We got a flat tire from a piece of sharp metal (a giant nail?) sticking up from the ground. We were able to get help from passing-by fellow tourists, regardless of how deserted it was. In the end, all good memories.
砂全体が、あまりうまく写真に撮れていないかもしれませんが ミドリ色です。。。
The sand, though I couldn't get it to look like I'd want it to, is supposed to be green in the picture....
泳ごうと思えば、泳げます。 It also possible to swim.
橄欖石(かんらんせき, olivine)が波で洗われていく過程で砂浜になったということだそうです。
でもなんだか訪れるたびに、砂浜が、小さくなっていっています。(´；ェ；`)It is said that olivine going through erosion had made such beautifully green colored sand. But it seems to be getting smaller and smaller every time we visit...(it has been made against the law, by the way, to take the sand home).

暑い〜海行きたい〜きれいな海に飛び込みた〜〜い！
一番近い湘南でもここからは遠い〜〜混んでる〜〜汚いし〜〜
昨日ＴＶでやっていたけどなんで？砂浜を汚して平気な顔して帰ってゆくんでしょうね！(｀Д´)
ガラスの破片やビニール袋や空き缶とか煙草の吸殻とか。。。？？
ハワイのビーチがきれいなのはポイ捨てで、罰金を取るからかなあ？日本もそうすればいいのに。
あとは派遣切りで失業した人をビーチ清掃員として大量に雇ったらいいのに。。。
きょうは秘密のお気に入りのビーチの写真をご紹介。。。（いまは場所は秘密にさせてネ。。 ）
ここはゆっくり昼寝したり、本読んだり身体を休めたい時に行きます。芝生があって人が少なくて本当にきれい。海の家なんてありませんが、シャワーや水洗トイレもきちんと完備！ちかくに素敵なホテルがあるので、必要なものがある時は、（いつも食料は持参ですが、急にもっと何か食べたくなった、予想以上にのどが渇いたなど。）そこまで歩いて買いにいったり。。。
ここでは沈む夕日が海に落ちて行くのが見れます。イルカの群れがジャンプしたり、海ガメがのそ〜〜っと泳いでいたりと目を凝らせば色んな物が見れます。

Here's a picture of one of our favorite secret beaches! (sorry, it's got to be secret for now ;p)
A great place to read a good novel, take short naps, and when you run out of things to do, just take a dip! Water's nice and fresh, the sand's warm... as you can see, there's also a little bit of green and shade under the trees.
Nothing fancy; just a few cool showers and a bathroom for your convenience. There's also a nice resort hotel nearby if you really need anything, but we usually bring our own little lunch pack....
The sunset is always a cannot-miss (even on cloudy days!), and if you look good enough, some dolphins can be seen jumpping in the distance, turtle swimming silently in the bay...
I guess there really is no time for napping! :)

The Cheese Cake Factory
You can do takeouts, but whip cream in a service only available eating in. I want to go and eat in right now....
歩いて隣のホテルのビーチカフェでデイナー。。。いい思い出です。（そんなに高くありませんよ〜〜）景色が一番おいしかったです。
お腹も最高に減ってくる時間です。家までお腹が持たない?ので、たいていカリフォルニアピザキッチン
に駆け込みます。
退治用に肉食のマングースを大量に外部から持ってきたんですが、この作戦は失敗に終わり、マングースも野ねずみもお互い大量にハワイに生息しています。。。
