スチールで出来たパーク施設が多いなかでこのParkは大木を荒削りし大きな石と組み合わせたトライアングルや滑り台など自然との調和を表現したようなつくりとなっており優しい風が吹き抜けているのだ。みんな誰にもやさしくハッピーになれるようだ。
Community Arts Project for new Willagee Park
The City of Melville has been working with local artist Gila Cohen and Willagee residents to create some community artworks that will become an integral part of the new public park on the grounds of the old Carawatha Primary School.
Three workshops were held at Willagee Community Centre as part of the community arts project, with residents invited to create bushland inspired designs to decorate stepping stones that will feature throughout the nature play space within the park.
