2017 No.1　Daigo-ji Temple


The first prize of 2017 is Daigo-ji Temple.


This year, we could experience a rare spring that the cherry blossoms had become their best time all at once throughout the wide precincts.


Usually, the timing of full bloom shift from place to place in this temple, so we can’t experience such a splendid cherry blossom viewing like this year.


The big weeping cherry tree of Sampo-in showed us a regal appearance this year too.


The other side of the gate is another world...


It takes about a half day to see the temple buildings, Sampo-in, and Reihokan (Museum).

When you are walking around big cherry trees that make flowers bloom elegantly as if they say "Look at me!", you will be able to soak yourself in a luxurious feeling.


This is the real charm of cherry blossom viewing!
